Hengeler Mueller advises Banque PSA Finance on the German aspects of a proposed 50/50 partnership with Santander Consumer Finance across PSA Peugeot Citroën’s main European markets. This partnership was announced on 19 February by PSA Peugeot Citroën Group in connection with other industrial and financial projects such as the strengthening of its partnership with Dongfeng and a EUR 3 bn share capital increase, on which Hengeler Mueller’s “Best Friend” Bredin Prat was the lead adviser.
Banque PSA Finance is the auto finance company of the second largest European vehicle manufacturer and one of the leading auto finance companies in Europe. Santander Consumer Finance is the consumer finance division of Banco Santander, the largest bank in the Eurozone by market capitalisation.
