The publishing group Random House (Bertelsmann) has acquired with immeditate effect the Prestel Verlag (publisher based in Munich) from the shareholders Martin Dort, Johannes Heyne and Jürgen Krieger. The transaction is subject to approval by the German Federal Cartel Office.
