Hengeler Mueller advises on Essen Hyp USD 1.25 bn Global Pfandbrief Issue

Hypothekenbank in Essen Aktiengesellschaft (Essen Hyp) has issued global public Pfandbriefe in the aggregate principal amount of USD 1.25 billion under its debt issuance programme. The public Pfandbriefe are represented during the entire term of the issue by two permanent global certificates (“two note structure”).

Hengeler Mueller advised Joint-Lead Managers Dresdner Bank AG London Branch, Bear Stearns International Limited and Goldman Sachs International, was responsible for the issue documentation and negotiated the documentation with the issuer.
