Funds advised by IndustriKapital, further co-investors as well as members of the management have sold, upon completion of a short auction process, all of their shares in Gardena AG to a subsidiary of Husqvarna AB (Sweden).
The sellers were advised by Hengeler Mueller. Advice was provided by partners Stefan Richter (M&A) and Alf-Henrik Bischke (Competition) in addition to associates Nicolaus Ascherfeld and Falko Dittmar.
Back in 2002, IndustriKapital was advised by a Hengeler team led by Stefan Richter on the acquisition of the then listed Gardena AG, the subsequent takeover offer and on the squeeze out of the remaining minority shareholders.
