On 3 November 2017, G.V.L.E. Gesellschaft zur Verbriefung von Lieferansprüchen auf Edelmetalle mbH has issued debt securities providing for a right to receive a 1 oz Krügerrand gold coin each. The issue comprises up to 250,000 securities due in 2027. The bonds will be traded on the open market (Freiverkehr) of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange. Bayerische Landesbank acts as placement agent, fiscal agent and depository for the Krügerrand gold coins.
