ams OSRAM, a global leader in optical solutions, has entered into an agreement on the sale of ams OSRAM Automotive Lighting Systems GmbH (AMLS) to Plastic Omnium. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, AMLS combines lighting technology with electronics and software to develop smart and innovative full lighting systems for the automotive industry. The closing of the transaction is expected in the third quarter 2022, subject to customary closing conditions.
