Thomas is currently serving as one of the firm's co-managing partners.
He has been a partner in our M&A practice since 1996. Thomas primarily advises financial investors on M&A projects and joint ventures that centre greatly on aspects relating to real estate law.
Thomas was instrumental in establishing Hengeler Mueller's real estate practice. He was involved in a variety of the largest and highest-profile transactions in the German real estate sector in recent years, having advised in particular major international private equity and sovereign wealth funds, as well as strategic national investors, on a wide range of real estate and corporate law issues. His advising covers all asset classes, notably commercial real estate, logistics properties and residential property portfolios.
