Johanna is a partner in Hengeler's dispute resolution group. She represents corporate clients in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, but also routinely handles cases before national courts. Johanna's work has a particular focus on technology and post M&A disputes. Her major clients include companies in the automotive and energy sector, as well as financial institutions.
Johanna has broad experience in international arbitration proceedings. Recent matters include advising a listed company in a large scale arbitration for damages after the acquisition of an enterprise in Germany or a US company in a technology related dispute with a Chinese distributor. Highlights of her past work include advising Deutsche Telekom AG in the US-$ multi-billion arbitral proceedings initiated by the Federal Republic of Germany in the matter of Toll Collect GmbH.
